LUGANO – The attempted arrest, the excitement, the aggression and the shooting. Finally, the intervention of some passers-by, which served to immobilize one of the robbers who attempted the robbery – fortunately foiled without consequences – in via Pessina in Lugano.
These are strong images, taken by a reader who happened to witness the police intervention in the Taleda jewelry store and exchange office.
In the video, two officers are seen, gun in hand, trying to stop one of the criminals as he tries to escape by leaving the store. Despite the gun being pointed at him, the man tries to run away, one of the two policemen chases him and a fight begins during which a shot is fired. At that point, some passers-by also intervene.
What follows is known. Three robbers stopped immediately (two inside and one outside the jewelry store), one arrested shortly after, intercepted in the Cathedral area.
