Old televisions, rubble, used clothes, shoes, furniture. Every day we find something new.” The speaker is an entrepreneur who lives with her family in Scalzagallo. According to the woman’s testimony, the waste also includes material used by groups of young people addicted to drug use. «Plastic bottles used for smoking crack abandoned everywhere. I no longer take my baby with me anymore. Some time ago, while I was out walking with my dogs, I saw a car approaching inside the pine forest. A man got out and opened the hood loaded with bags of waste. Just as he was trying to get rid of them he saw me, he loaded the bags back into the trunk and left,” explained the woman. Only two months ago the Municipality and Tekneko signed the new contract for the management of the urban hygiene service and announced the increase in control of the territory through the installation of one hundred camera traps and the use of drones over the city with the intent to find micro landfills.
