The Bersagliere Knight Nunzio Cafagna as president of the organizing committee of the Bersaglieri Gathering, which took place on Sunday 26 May, expresses profound gratitude to the citizens of Andria who participated, moved and honored, in the inauguration ceremony of the commemorative plaque in memory of the Bersagliere Cesareo Bonaventura, medal of silver for military valor for having distinguished himself heroically during the First World War, in via Di Nanni in a new square with a small municipal garden and then continued with the salute to the Fallen at the War Memorial and the final salute at the Bersaglieri monument.

A successful event, the result of long and in-depth planning and organization work, which was able to materialize thanks to the patronage of the Municipality of Andria, therefore special thanks should be given to our Mayor, Mr. Giovanna Bruno who attended the ceremony with great enthusiasm and a great sense of patriotism together with the other representatives of the municipal administration.
The organizing committee cannot fail to thank all the authorities present by the vicar of the Police Headquarters and representatives of the police forces, even more so the army officers represented by the Major Officer of the 82nd Turin infantry regiment and send warm thanks to the brass band by Terlizzi who made the ceremony itself more characteristic and beautiful, giving a sense of celebration to all the citizens present along the central streets of Andria during the parade.
Finally, we would like to thank all the numerous former Bersaglieri of the relevant national associations who attended from other cities in Puglia together with the headquarters of the Bersaglieri association of Andria who enhanced the morning even more which will remain unforgettable in the hearts of the people of Andria hoping to be able to donate to the city other similar moments hoping for a more massive participation especially of young people.
