An orderly flow of people on bikes or on foot reached, on the afternoon of Sunday 26 May, the Torraccia area, the fields of the Cab terra cooperative which were flooded last year to prevent the waters from reaching the city of Ravenna. Walking along Via Marabina, closed to cars, a varied audience of families, young and old, some with dogs in tow, wanted to take part in Daniele Silvestri’s concert as part of the ‘Romagna in Fiore’ festival. The singer-songwriter, opened by the singer Casadilego who won over the public two years ago on the xfactor television broadcast, has started his tour “Il cantastorie recidivo”, a show that retraces his 30-year career. A different afternoon “A show – commented the Prefect of Ravenna Castrese De Rosa, who also came to the event by bike – to rediscover natural, ecological and green places and beauty. A unique experience, to be replicated”. One year after the flood that heavily damaged Romagna, the 35th edition of Ravenna Festival wanted to dedicate part of the programming to some of the most affected areas, with a series of free concerts to discover those areas and enhance their spirit of resilience. Romagna in fiore is a special widespread event, with afternoon concerts without imposing stages or artificial lights, in outdoor spaces with great landscape and historical value that can be reached on foot or by bicycle.
