The Refuge of the Stars | National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise
Saturday 29 June 2024 from 9.00pm to 11.00pm

The beautiful territory of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park will be the evocative setting for an evening of astronomical observation at the telescope, entirely guided and commented by experts and star enthusiasts from the Astrolab in Rome. The event will begin at sunset, allowing us to admire the planets Venus and Mars, and then turn our gaze towards our fascinating natural satellite, the Moon. During the evening, we will have the opportunity to explore some fascinating deep sky objects, such as open clusters, galaxies and multiple star systems, characteristic of the summer period. And with a bit of luck, we will also be able to admire the wonderful spectacle of shooting stars. Through the use of a laser, which will precisely target individual stars, the experts will lead us to discover the constellations, planets and stars, enriching our journey of knowledge of the celestial vault with interesting curiosities. During the event, hot drinks such as tea and herbal teas will be offered, as well as small snacks such as biscuits, to make the cool evening more comfortable.
