But the Powerboating Championship, which has reached itsXI edition, it’s much more than a competition between sea racing cars, it’s promotion of the territory. It is an important occasion for the host city which has the opportunity to make itself known and remembered also for its history, its culture, its gastronomy, as well as for its stadium of the sea which has no equal in the world, as repeatedly recalled by the president of the National Motorboating Federation, Vincenzo Iaconianni. For this reason the event, which will take place in the internal port and on the Lungomare Regina Margherita, enjoys the support of Puglia regionDepartment of Tourism, Development and Tourism Enterprise, PugliaPromotion And Municipality of Brindisi, institutional partners who have fully grasped and contributed to enhancing the potential of the event. Furthermore, starting this year, the municipal administration has created a brand that refers to the city’s relationship with its sea. “Toast between waves and knots” in fact, its objective is to enhance activities and events linked to this element of identity.
