AVIGLIANO UMBRO – 25 May 2024 – The Landscape Laboratory has always supported the Umbrian Masks of the Commedia dell’arte, an ambitious project that takes us back to the seventeenth century and the Commedia dell’arte show. Today, Saturday 25 May 2024 at the Consortium Theater in Massa Martana (Pg) in the show “Lezioni d’Amore” the Umbrian Masks Rosalinda, Nasoacciaccato, Nasotorto and Chicchirichella, at the time Martina Giannini, Stefano Ferrotti, Francesco Michelini and Marco Fioretti, will be joined by other exceptional artists: Luca Alcini in the part of Balanzone, Carolina Giannini a sparkling Colombina, Lucrezia Beco the beautiful courtesan. The cameo of the show is the presence of the versatile performer and soprano Francesca Romana Garroni in the part of Pulcinella! The music was consulted by Francesco Contili and the composition of the villanelles was performed by Marco Venturi on the harpsichord and Sara Montani on the baroque violin, with choreography by Maria Cristina Adriatico and original costumes by Paola Contili.
In “Love Lessons” the Umbrian Masks of the Commedia dell’arte interpret a fun script full of references to tradition and the places of our territory, a witty testimony with jokes and jokes, as well as a skilful use of irony! A very successful creative idea directed by Paola Contili who also took care of the scenography and costumes… an excellent job for a fun evening!
In many parts of Italy the Masks they are known and requested, from Mondovì in Cuneo, to Milan at the Expo, from Parma to Castello di Bardi, from Varallo di Vercelli to Stupinigi and then Verona and other places to continue to bring Umbria and their country of origin, Avigliano Umbria, in Italy and in the world.
