U19 Piedmont Cup: Cuneo triumphs – La Guida

The Juniores of Cuneo 1905 Olmo have won the 2024 edition of the Coppa Piemonte Valle d’Aosta. The team led by Cristian Tolu and Elton Anamali in fact beat Alpignano with a clear score (5-0) in the final played at 6.30 pm on Sunday 2 June on the Orbassano synthetic field, at the end of the challenge for the Under 16 regional title won by Chisola on Lascaris. The red and whites thus completed a journey made up of only victories: three successes in the qualifying round (7-3 against Cheraschese, 3-1 away from Novese, 2-0 in Alba against Acqui), then victory in the quarter-finals against Mirafiori (4-0) and two successes in the double semi-final again against Cheraschese (4-1 at Madonna dell’Olmo and 2-1 at Roella di Cherasco), up to 5-0 in the final against Alpignano, who already had came close to winning the Cup in the last edition, won by CBS. Top scorer of the event was Gabriele Bodino with 12 goals, for the red and whites the other goals of the tournament since 2007 were scored by Ghibaudo (5), Dembele (2), Sadrija (2), Gallo, Bozza, Chesta, Botasso and Giachino.
