It is hereby announced that, in order to ensure and guarantee the establishment and functionality of the polling stations, the organization must activate the procedure aimed at identifying, upon request, those who intend to replace the presidents of the polling stations who renounce the appointment made by the Court of Appeal of Bari and already registered in the Register of Presidents of the Municipality of Trani.
To this end, all interested parties who meet the necessary requirements can submit an application to the Municipality of Trani by 28 May 2024, as per the attached form, also available at the Municipality’s Electoral Office. The application, drawn up on plain paper and signed by the interested party, must be submitted, under penalty of exclusion, no later than 28 May 2024 in the following ways:
- directly by delivery exclusively to the Protocol Office of the Municipality of Trani, located on the ground floor of the Town Hall in Via Tenente Luigi Morrico n. 2, by the expiry date of the notice, from Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 12.00 pm and on Thursdays and also from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
- by email to the following PEC address:[email protected] no later than 28 May 2024 at 11.59pm (the date of arrival of the email to the municipal PEC will be considered useful). In this case the following wording must be indicated in the subject of the email: “Election of the members of the European Parliament due to Italy on 8 and 9 June 2024″ – Application for the replacement of the resigning Presidents of the Chamber”.
The declarations made under one’s own responsibility are valid as declarations in lieu of certification and declarations in lieu of an affidavit pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 445/2000 and, under penalty of exclusion, must be signed and accompanied by a valid identity document.
Applications that are incomplete even by just one element will not be taken into consideration.
Upon expiry of the deadline for submitting applications, two distinct lists will be drawn up: the first, containing the candidates in possession of declared previous experience as President of the Polling Station, the second containing the candidates without said previous experience. It should be noted that the calling criterion will be determined by the date of arrival of the applications to the protocol. Previous experience without demerit will constitute a priority, therefore the vacant positions will be assigned drawing from the first list and when the same is exhausted, the second list will be scrolled among all the aspirants regularly registered in the Register of Chairmen of the Office.
The actual assignment of the role signed by the Mayor will, in any case, only take place following actual participation in the training course which will be organized by the Municipality of Trani, the date of which will be subsequently communicated.
The unavailability of the applicants and/or the impossibility of notification will result in the forfeiture of the right of appointment.
