Don Fradelloni is the new vicar

FANO There are many new diocesan positions that the bishop Andrea Andreozzi he assigned almost a year after his episcopal ordination on 18 June 2023 and his arrival in the city on the following 9 July, trying above all to rejuvenate the ranks of his collaborators. In this sense, the vicar general, Don Marco Presciutti, whom the bishop thanked for the service performed and the welcome received, as was anticipated on the day of Pentecost, passes the baton to Don Filippo Fradelloni 46 years old, parish priest of Pergola, while Mauro Amati, former commander of the Fano carabinieri station, takes over from Don Luca Santini as the bishop’s lay secretary.

The 4 external representatives

As is known, the diocese is divided into four areas, each of which is managed by a vicar forane who liaises with the vicar general and the bishop. The following have been appointed to this role: Don Sauro Profiri, 56 years old, parish priest of Apecchio, who will represent the Vicarage of Cagli – Pergola; Don Gabriele Micci, 38 years old, parish priest of Montefelcino, who will be the vicar forane for the Fossombrone area, replacing Don Vincenzo Solazzi as the new director of the office for ecumenism and interreligious dialogue; Don Federico Tocchini, 55 years old, parish priest of Rosciano – Centinarola, has been appointed for the Fano area, while Don Matteo Pucci, 39 years old, parish priest of Calcinelli will cover the Valmetauro area.

Don Marco Presciutti, former parish administrator of Pianello di Cagli, will be the new parish priest of Pergola, Frontone, Serra Sant’Abbondio, supported by the returning Don Giacomo Ruggeri, as collaborator, and by Don Marco Rulli, who has also been appointed director of the diocesan missionary center at the end of Marco Gasparini’s mandate.

Change of parish priest also in Mondavio. Don Michele Giardini will be full-time director of the diocesan Caritas, leaving the baton to Don Marco Moschini.

The new presbyteral council is also being set up, which will be made up of around 15 priests and religious representing the diocesan clergy numbering around seventy; within this a smaller group will form the new college of consultors, now represented by Don Giorgio Giovanelli, by the parish priest emeritus of the cathedral Don Luciano Torcellini, by Don Giuseppe Tintori who was vicar of the diocese with Bishop Trasarti, Don Giuseppe Marini , Don Marco Presciutti also vicar, Don Ugo Ughi, Don Enrico Secchiaroli and Don Luca Santini former secretary of the bishop.

The pastoral council

This body is consulted by the bishop in case of need regarding economic or personal matters. Furthermore, the diocesan pastoral council which will take office in September will also have to be renewed. In reality all the changes decided by Bishop Andreozzi will take place after the summer.
