Nine stories Self Mutual Help

TRENT. Nine stories, nine testimonies of the journey of personal change that took place thanks to the Ama association of Trento. The exhibition opened in the internal courtyard of Palazzo Thun in Trento “Chrysalides. Stories of Self Mutual Help”, open until Sunday 2 June in the Vantini Chapel in via delle Orne. Curated by Linda Tovazzi, Angela Dinoi and Lisa Villotti the exhibition is part of the initiatives linked to Trento, European Capital of Volunteering and is dedicated to the memory of Stefano Bertoldicreator and founder of the association.

Also present at the vernissage was the councilor for health, social policies and cooperation Mario Tonina which brought the greetings of the provincial government. The councilor underlined how, in addition to contributing to everyone’s personal growth, the exhibition is a way to convey to the younger generations the importance of solidarity, the values ​​and the meaning of volunteering. Finally he recalled that thanks to cultural events, to figures such as that of Stefano Bertoldi and to the generosity of many people who have chosen and choose to dedicate themselves and pay attention to those in difficulty, the Trentino community has managed to remain united and become improve.

In the Crisalidi exhibition you can find nine visual works and as many testimonies (listened to on your smartphone via QR Code) of the metamorphosis of the people who turned to Ama. Through the journey undertaken within the group, they have transformed from people in need of help to people capable of helping those who are experiencing a moment of difficulty.

Crisalidi will remain open until 2 June from Tuesday to Friday from 3pm to 7pm, on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm. Entrance is free, to listen to the works it is recommended to bring headphones and your phone equipped with an app to scan QR Codes.
