CATANIA – The attention of the State Police continues in the neighborhoods of the historic center of the city.
As part of the territorial control services, arranged by the Police Commissioner of Catania, aimed at the prevention and repression of offenses committed by those who illegally carry out the activity of parking attendant, yesterday evening, the police officers of the General Prevention and Rescue Office The public sanctioned six offenders caught in the act of carrying out the activity of parking attendant without any authorisation.
Specifically, four of them were identified in Via Dusmet. Another person was sanctioned in Via Cristoforo Colombo, while yet another was identified in Via Simeto.
The latter was also reported in a state of freedom as he did not comply with the DACUR, the provision with which the Police Commissioner had prohibited him from frequenting certain areas, including Via Simeto.
During the same evening, in Via Angelo Custode, the officers subjected a subject to control, a 49-year-old criminal from Catania, who, intolerant of the control, began to insult the operators who found themselves forced to request help from a police car.
Once the police arrived on site, with many difficulties, the subject was taken by car and taken to the offices of the Scientific Police to be identified through the photo, as he had no documents.
Once the identification operations were concluded, the man was reported in a state of freedom for resisting and insulting a public official and for failure to comply with the DACUR, a provision to which he was subjected, because he was found in a street whose use had been forbidden to him with the provision of the Police Commissioner
