On May 12th the Triathlon of great occasions will stop in Tropea, Calabria, for the second edition of the Triathlon of the Gods, a silver sprint race included in the national calendar of the Italian Triathlon Federation (FiTri) and organized by the ASD by triathlete Luca Mancuso.
750 meters of swimming, 20 km of cycling and 5 km of running without interruption, these are the distances that athletes from all over Italy will have to face in the magnificent town located on the Tyrrhenian Sea and with breathtaking views of the Aeolian Islands, to experience a unique experience among the white Blue Flag beaches and the historic center of one of the most fascinating towns in Europe, Borgo dei Borghi 2021, best seaside destination for the international travel magazine TravelMag and the only location in Calabria to obtain the 5 Sails of Legambiente and of the Touring Club. Recently the Financial Time included Tropea among “the eight destinations to escape and leave everything behind” – “eight true escape where you leave it all behind” (source FT London)
