“I run with you… and for you”, presentation on Thursday 18 April – BisceglieLive.it

ASD Bisceglie Running presents the 2024 edition of the sporting, cultural and social event “I run with you”. Appointment on Thursday 18 April at 10am in the Hall of Mirrors of Palazzo Tupputi.

This year “I run with you” will take place over two days, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May. The big news is “I run with you… and for you”, a race for blind and partially sighted people on Saturday 11 May with departure and arrival from the tourist port of Bisceglie and a route covering 9 kilometers along the city’s coast road. This is a one-of-a-kind race with athletes and their sports guides from all over Italy.

The details of the event, which welcomed 1500 participants in 2023, will be presented at the conference on Thursday 18 April. Speakers are expected to include, among others, the president of ASD Bisceglie Running, Mauro Sasso, the regional guarantor of the rights of people with disabilities, Antonio Giampietro and the mayor of Bisceglie, Angelantonio Angarano.

“I run with you” is an initiative organized by ASD Bisceglie Running and sponsored by the Municipality of Bisceglie, with the support of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, Italian Paralympic Committee of the Puglia Region, APRP Pugliese Association for Retinitis Pigmentosa, Fispes ( Italian Paralympic and Experimental Sports Federation), CONI Puglia, Bandiera Lilla, FIDAL Puglia (Italian Athletics Federation), Bisceglie Approdi, Confcommercio Bisceglie, Pro Loco Bisceglie.
