It’s not a trail, and it’s not even a road race: it’s simply there Reale Mutua Monza Montevecchiathe 34 kilometer ecotrail that is run in pairs and takes runners from the historic Royal Villa of Monza to the Montevecchia hill.
Even without reaching the canonical 42 kilometres, the Momot represents a magical experience, to be lived in the green corner of Brianza. Especially for those who have just raced there Milan marathon and she has the kilometers in her legs necessary to experience this race together with a running partner.
The event, scheduled Sunday 19 May, is a new challenge that comes immediately after the big spring marathons. A test to be run not only on the road, but also on the paths, overcoming fords, rough terrain and the tiring climb that takes you to the top of Montevecchia. But with a runner friend by your side, anything can be done!

Monza Montevecchia, coach Bovienzo’s training schedule
The Momot organization knows how much every runner wants to be ready for the appointments they set themselves… like for the 2024 edition, thanks to the collaboration with coaches Matteo Bovienzo (My best sports coaching), has created two training tables (“beginner” And “advanced”, created based on the athlete’s level) built specifically for the eco trail. The tables are free and will be sent via email to all those registered for the event.
