He arrived at Trapani in December 2009, when the Granata were playing in Serie D. Corrado Montalbano, striker born in Agrigento on 29 April 1990, accepted the then coach’s proposal Roberto Boscaglia and to play with Trapani he left the Nissa. That year the Granata closed the tournament in second place, one step away from Milazzo, losing the playoffs, but then being returned to the Second Division, former C2. In that season 2009-10 his appearances with the shirt of Trapani there were 13 and 2 goals scored.
He stayed at Trapani also the following year, in the season 2010-11. That season opened for him in the best way, in fact he scored the winning goal in the first round of the Italian Cup, with the Granata beating 3-2 Spal. In fact, 9 minutes from the end of the match, Montalbano he scored the goal that qualified the Trapani to the next round of the Cup. But that was the only satisfaction of the season, because they only made 13 appearances in the league and another in the Italian Cup, against Frosinone. In the end, however, he too was able to celebrate his move up to the First Division after the playoff victory against Neapolis and in the final againstAvellino.
Although little used in the previous season, however, Montalbano remained at Trapani even in season 2011-12, but only until October when, after never having been employed by Bush, moved to Ribera in Serie D. So, he played with Syracuse, Ribera, Leonfortese, Sancataldese, Gela, Marsala, Still Frost And Sancataldese.
