Whoever wins goes to the final from which the team that follows will emerge Monte Roberto, first in the championship, in Second Category.
Off we go Friday 17 May at 8.45pm at ‘Mosconi’: Largo Europa – Spes Jesi. On Saturday at 4.30 pm Villa Strada will host Valle del Giano.
Teams playing at home will need a draw to reach the final.
LARGO EUROPA – SPES JESI
Mister Diego Radicioni on the eve of the derby: “It’s the fourth time we’ve met after the two championships and the cup. A match that presents itself. beautiful tense and heartfelt. Besides, it’s a derby. It’s true that they play at home, that there will be a lot of people. I hope it’s a good match. We are preparing it well.
We all know each other well both on and off the pitch. We are focused and motivated, we don’t really think about the fact that we have two results out of three to exploit because the match must be played until the final whistle and we will try to win with our weapons. We are at the end of the season. the efforts will be felt, those who are in better physical shape prevail. Then all the other components will have their part. Spes is a very square team that Marco Pelonara has modeled well. We play second against fifth but the points difference are eliminated, it will be a separate match. We are leaving for a mini championship and we will have to give our best without the possibility of error. Mental strength will be needed.”

Overall, we come to this challenge all aware that we have had a great regular season, beyond all our wildest expectations. At the beginning of the season we had not set a real seasonal objective, with all the boys we had been clear “…let’s start again with the intention of having a good championship…”, aware that in the group in addition to the three relegated Villa Strada, Valle del Giano and Cameratese , “powerhouses” such as Monteroberto and LargoEuropa were present. Our goal was to try to fit in among these five and we succeeded. Taking a look at the numbers, they are certainly not on our side, given Largo Europa’s unbeaten home run in the championship at Mosconi, 2 Largo Europa victories to 1 in the three previous matches this season and lastly, due to better placement in the standings, they have from their results two out of three. Friday’s match comes fifteen days before the end of the regular season, during which we prepared well, working on the pitch with the right mentality and living the week without too much pressure. We are going into the playoffs with some situations in doubt, due to various “aches”, but we are aware that whoever takes the field will give everything as always until now”.
VILLA STRADA – VALLE DEL GIANO
The coach of president Pippo Mosconi’s club, Claudio Tomassoni, describes the day before: “The approach march is going well, with a few hiccups but it is progressing. They are good games to play, exciting. obviously it will be a difficult match, with a strong, organized team that arrives like us in good psychophysical conditions: may the best win! We are ready.
It will be a match in which the mental aspect and physical condition will count. As even the major amateur championships have shown us, there are matches in which there is no favorite and which are beyond all predictions.”
From the Fabriano side mister Emanuele Birelli: “Saturday’s match will be a beautiful and important match for us because thinking about where we started and all the past vicissitudes this summer, this match will crown a great season where the boys immediately managed to immerse themselves with dedication to the new way of playing and we managed to maintain a positive mentality throughout all these months! On Saturday we will face the best team in the championship and certainly the most difficult to face in a single match, especially on their pitch, so we know we have to play the perfect match. They have quality in their individuals, physicality and experience to spare, we will have to fight ball after ball to counter them and be clear throughout the match, it will certainly be a beautiful match and we can’t wait to play it in front of a nice crowd of fans who I think will come to see it!”.
