Sanremo. «A City Council has been convened for April 30th with numerous very important practices for the city on the agenda – Progetto Comune writes in a note – among these practices the following stand out in terms of importance: the approval of the 2023 management report, the the application of the 2023 administration surplus, the changes to the Tari regulation, the approval of the new Rivieracqua statute and some off-balance sheet debts.

We are astounded that the current administration considers itself above the law and brings to the City Council practices for which it is conceivable the violation of article 38, paragraph 5 of the Consolidated Law on Local Authorities which states: “The councils remain in office until to the election of the new ones, limiting itself, after the publication of the decree calling the electoral rallies, to adopting urgent and urgent measures”.

«The approval of the 2023 management report is certainly an urgent and urgent act (it must be approved by April 30), as are off-balance sheet debts.

However, we do not believe that the application of the administration surplus, the changes to the Tari regulation and above all the changes to the Rivieracqua statute preparatory to the privatization of water in the province of Imperia are absolutely urgent and urgent.

We strongly ask this outgoing administration to decide exclusively on the 2023 management report and off-balance sheet debts, leaving the other practices to the City Council which will be determined by the elections on June 8th and 9th.”
