The two girls aged 12 and 13 who disappeared since Wednesday morning from the Ravenna area, where their families filed a complaint with the police, have not yet been found. The prevailing hypothesis is that the two left voluntarily to join a friend in the province of Naples, where however they were not found. The searches continue, after the second night away from home and appeals from family members on social media.

The Carabinieri of the Lugo and Ravenna Companies, coordinated by the Prosecutor’s Office, are investigating the two girls aged 12 and 13 who have disappeared since Wednesday. Prefect Castrese de Rosa alerted all prefectures, as per the plan for missing persons. The young people disappeared before going to school in Alfonsine, they live in other municipalities in the area. They may have withdrawn money before walking away.

“The situation is currently at a standstill, nothing is known. The last contact with our daughter’s cell phone was in Naples and today we too are here, traveling around the area looking for her.” This was said by the father of Sofia, a 13-year-old who disappeared on March 27 together with her 12-year-old friend Michelle. Their cell phones would show how the two teenagers reached the Campania capital by train. Michelle also allegedly wrote to a friend she met online, telling her that she intended to visit her in Naples. “The last trace of my daughter’s cell phone was in Naples – adds the father – and then nothing more. We don’t know who could have reached the girls”.
