REGGIO EMILIA – Inflation is decreasing, but prices will never return to their previous levels with negative effects on consumption. To say it is Marco Pedroniformer president of Coop Nordest and Coop Italia, today at the helm of Ancc-Coop, the national association of consumer cooperatives.
After the sharp decline in consumption in 2023, the last months of last year marked a reversal of the trend. “However, unfortunately, in the first months of 2024 there was a new decline in consumption. A friend of Marco Massari since high school, Pedroni does not give advice to the centre-left candidate but he is convinced of one thing: “As a Reggio Emilia native, I say that the city has made very important steps forward and that it has the potential to make a further leap extraordinary”.
