The low pressure present between the Atlantic and Spain will continue to bring bad weather throughout the Easter weekend. However, the southern currents linked to it bring warmer air, so the rain will replace the snow even at altitudes above 1500 m, bringing a high water risk, considering the simultaneous melting of the snow present. Improvement during Easter Monday.
In Turin we will have this situation: From today to Sunday 31 March – Easter
Mostly very cloudy or overcast skies. Rain spread everywhere in various phases with breaks of a few hours. The most acute phase will be during Easter where strong storms will also be possible, in some cases also in Piedmont. Accumulations in upper Piedmont at the end of the event could exceed 200 mm. Snow altitude variable but generally above 1000/1500m, with strong danger of avalanches especially in Verbano.
Maximum temperatures between 10 and 13 °C with few variations which could be due to temporary clearings. Minimum temperatures between 7 and 9 °C on plains mostly without large fluctuations.
No or weak variable winds today, moderate eastern winds tomorrow, still moderate southern winds on Sunday. Alps: moderate to locally strong southern on Alpine border ridges, with decreasing intensity between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, then new strengthening between Sunday afternoon and evening.
Monday 1 April – Easter Monday
Residual precipitation in the early hours of the night running out going from the south-west to the north-east. Skies that will then open with large clearings during the morning, although in the afternoon residual instability could bring some isolated showers especially in the Alpine areas. Minimum temperatures still stationary, maximum temperatures rising sharply and close to 18/19 °C. Strong Foehn winds on the Alpine ridges, therefore mountain trips with high avalanche danger are not recommended. Still weak, locally moderate southerly in the morning on the plains, decreasing during the day.

After this long disturbed parenthesis, perhaps a week of calm awaits us, with average temperatures and spring finally starting off decisively. We will know more in the next updates.
