Reggio Calabria, alarm over the coverage of the Annunziata

StrettoWeb

A StrettoWeb reader sent a report regarding the very dangerous situation present on Viale Umberto Boccioni and Via Argine Destro Annunziata in Reggio Calabria. As can be seen from the photos accompanying the article, the asphalt covering the Annunziata stream risks collapsing and is impassable for vehicles.

“Good morning, I would like to point out the deteriorated condition of the coverage of the Annunziata stream in the stretch between Piazzale Mino Reitano towards the sea. These are very busy roads used daily by thousands of motorists and motorcyclists who unfortunately have to encounter the conditions of the road surface every day which features missing pieces of asphalt and dangerous potholes.”

“Cars are forced to hit potholes with damage to the wheels and suspensions and the situation is even worse for motorcyclists who risk losing control of the vehicle and falling with physical consequences and injuries.”

“This is, as can be seen from the attached photos, a situation of serious danger in the middle of the city to which no one seems to pay attention, a situation of real risk for road safety which should be addressed and resolved for the benefit of Reggio’s road users, also constituting a terrible business card for the city given the central location. Thank you director!”.
