The captain of theAcireale, Giuseppe Savanarolacommented on the qualification for the play offs as follows:
“Play-offs? It was due credit for the season we had. For us it was a great return round, the play offs were not our initial goal, but we are all very happy to have achieved them. The club has always put its face to the good and the bad, and deserves this result.”
