New Skoda Kodiaq 2024: Preview in Rendering

The Czech brand is preparing a new generation of its flagship crossover and some teasers of the upcoming new model have already been released. These renderings from Kolesa.ru allow us to take a look at the final look of the car.
The Skoda Kodiaq of the first and so far only generation appeared in the fall 2016, becoming the production version of the VisionS concept shown in March of the same year. The crossover received a restyling in spring 2021 and the tests of the new generation model are now in the final stages. The first teasers were released at the end of April and new images of the camouflaged model were added last week.
While the body of the new Skoda Kodiaq is almost completely hidden under the protective film, the main features of the exterior can already be seen. The general proportions of the car body will remain almost unchanged, as will the style of the front with “two-story” headlights. At the same time, the shape of the headlights and the grille will be slightly changed and the bonnet will become a bit flatter with a slightly concave central part (in the current model it is convex).

NEW DESIGN AND MORE

The differences in the side view of the new Skoda Kodiaq are noticeable: the shape of the windows will be updated through the rising waistline, and the sides will become almost flat at the top. THE lights they will be positioned significantly higher than the current model; their shape is still hidden under the camouflage but it is possible to imagine a horizontal style in the wake of the brand’s latest models.
The next generation crossover will be built on one MQB platform updated that uses the current Kodiaq. Despite universal electrification, the novelty will retain internal combustion engines, which will be updated to meet Euro 7 environmental standards.
