Albenga. Mariangela Riolfo’s death at just 65 years of age was shocking news. She was a very well-known person in the city, also because of the role she held for many years in the Municipality of Albenga, where she had worked in the registry office as civil status manager, then about three years ago she retired.

A long illness did not allow her to enjoy the well-deserved rest, but tore her away from her family and friends. The sad announcement was made by her husband Sergio, her daughters Lucia and Lis, her sons-in-law Alessio and Fabio gathered around her grandchildren Cecilia and Leonardo, her sisters and all her relatives.

Among the many friends and colleagues of the Municipality of Albenga who remember her with such affection also come the most heartfelt condolences of the mayor Riccardo Tomatis, on behalf of the entire administration: “A news that causes pain – says the mayor -, Maria Angela she was a model employee, always attentive and kind, a figure much appreciated also by citizens for her human qualities and for the commitment with which she always carried out her work duties”.

Eraldo Ciangherotti remembers her like this: “Always smiling and friendly face, person known in her parish of Vadino, I offer my condolences to the family”.

The funeral will take place on Friday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. in Vadino in the parish of San Bernardino. The Holy Rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 27th at 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary of the Santa Corona hospital.
