A tribute to Pinerolowhich will be the stage for the start, on Tuesday 2 July, of the fourth stage of the 2024 edition of Tour de Francethe Pinerolo-Valloire. To celebrate the important event, with the return of Big loop in the town of Turin, Gallup has created – in collaboration with Tuttosport and with the patronage of the city of Pinerolo – an installation dedicated to yellow racewhich from today, Saturday 29 June, can be admired simply by walking in the city centre until 31 July.
The exhibition winds along the porticoes of Turin courseunder which it is possible to admire a series of double-sided panels through which to relive the history of the Tour, in addition to two images dedicated to the 1949 exploits of Fausto Coppi – who was the winner that year and who was the first rider in history to achieve the winning combination Tour of Italy -Tour de France in the same calendar year – and Gino Bartali who, in that same edition, came second, behind the Piedmontese champion, as happened in the Giro d’Italia.
The images of the two champions to whom Galup paid homage in tribute to their great achievements remain in history, and the installation becomes a contemporary testimony of this. panettone.
