A summer full of commitments, projects and emotions begins for the Asd Ginnastica Riviera dei Fiori engaged on several fronts to satisfy the expectations of its athletes and offer interesting ‘services’ for all those who want to know and get closer to the disciplines and to our historic sports association.
Summer 2024 opens with a bouquet of flowers for the Riviera dei Fiori Gymnastics
From 21 to 23 June, at the Assago Forum in Milan, the last stage of the World Cup 2024 of rhythmic gymnastics took place, with the presence of many of the strongest individual gymnasts and teams in the world, with the execution of the exercises that will be brought into competition in the upcoming Paris Olympics with the presence of the legendary ‘butterflies’ of the Italian national team and the two excellent individualists Sophia Raffaelli e Milena Baldassari . On this occasion, the Ponente sports club was able to contribute to making the awards ceremony more ‘colorful’ by providing bouquets to be delivered to all the gymnasts on the podiums. The flowers, delivered in person by the president Claudio Frascarelli (councillor of the FGI Liguria Regional Committee) and by the technician Prof. Daniela Breggion, They were kindly offered by the Cooperativa del Golfo di Napoli, and the bouquets were made by the florist Cinzia Frascarelli. On this occasion the president of the Riviera was also able to have discussions with the top management of the Gymnastics Federation who
they confirmed their interest in the gym dedicated exclusively to gymnastics present at the Sports Centre of the Flower Market in Sanremo.
Training and shows in the Riviera towns
For promotional activities, the Gymevents groups and the competitors of the rhythmic section, accompanied by the techniques Monia Stabile , Ilaria Cavicchia e Vittoria ArietaSunday 22nd June were invited to the Macumba Fitness evening well organized by Elisa Rosano at the Auditorium of Ospedaletti. For the gymnasts it was a nice evening of sport and fun, proposing 5 choreographies much appreciated by the large audience present.
For training activities, after 2 weeks of rest, all the training sessions of the competitive sections are resuming to prepare for the second part of the season which for the Federginnastica, having chosen a calendar following the solar year, will propose a series of high-level events. To be ready, the gymnasts from the Poreč area will train and participate in collegials and internships, as well as performing on several occasions in the summer events organized by the local administrations. Artistic men, women, rhythmic, trampoline and acrobatics are the active competitive sections.
The Coni education camp
Also this summer, Ginnastica Riviera dei Fiori is among the leading companies of the 6th edition of the EDUCAMP CONI project. Three multi-sport summer camps are proposed by Polisportiva dei Fiori 2.3 (which unites ASD Olimpia Basket, Nuova Lega Pallavolo Sanremo and Riviera). The camps are held weekly, they started on Monday 24th June and will end on Friday 26th July. The proposed activities involve the administrations of the Municipalities of Sanremo, Taggia and S. Stefano al Mare and many sports clubs in the area that provide venues and qualified technicians to introduce and practice a wide range of disciplines, without neglecting the recreational-creative aspect and hours on the beach and pool. The camp is sponsored by the Liguria Region which, through FILSE, will recognize those entitled, a financial contribution to parents.
