The last concert of the 2023-2024 Concert Season took place on Sunday 21 April on the stage of the Mercadante Theater in Altamura.
On stage Daniele Orlando on the violin and I Solisti Aquilani, one of the most important groups in the Italian musical tradition, performed a fascinating program much loved by the public: The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi.
An amazing and exciting concert with a lively involvement of the audience present at the theater.
The excellent violinist Daniele Orlandotogether with the string orchestra of I Solisti Aquilani, offered various food for thought.
Vivaldi describes an uncontaminated nature with his sonnets and his music. The bitter vision of how Nature has been reduced by man’s often too invasive intervention is very different. This interpretation offers a sonic “chiaroscuro”: on the one hand, Nature as it was, could have been and could be again, and on the other, violated Nature, like the one we have too often before our eyes.
