Canottieri Milano prevailed over SG Arese in a balanced match, with a tight result right down to the last second.
The Meneghini did not play the best match but managed to bring home the victory and three points thanks to a break at the end of the third half.

Canottieri Milano opens the scoring with Vanoni, Nava extends the lead with a shot from distance, bringing the score to 2-0. Arese’s reaction was not long in coming: Riefoli converted a penalty and Traballi equalised.
Giuriali, in a counterattack, puts Arese on +1, Nava scores the 3-3 and again Riefoli, on a penalty, puts his team back in the lead.
Vanoni doesn’t give up and scores the 4-4 in the lead, opening the third half. At 1’30” Canottieri goes wild with the determination of his Sicilians, taking the lead 7-4, thanks to a Di Caro in great shape and a super Cacciola.
In the fourth half, Arese returns to the field with the right mentality: Giuriali and Traballi bring Silvestri and his teammates back down. Once again Vanoni stands out, surprising Santalucia and bringing the score to 8-6.
Despite Silvestri’s goal, which closed the match at the final 8-7, Canottieri Milano won a difficult match against an organized and often dangerous Arese. The right side was decisive with the snipers Coscia Vanoni and Cacciola who scored goals decisive, while the defenses of Nava and De Amicis were always effective.
