It is not the first time that Kraven has been postponed: initially scheduled for October 2023, the film was postponed by Sony due to the actors’ strike as the studio did not want to distribute it without the actors being able to promote it. In addition to protagonist Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the film also includes Ariana DeBose, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, Fred Hechinger, Levi Miller, Murat Seven and Russell Crowe, and is directed by JC Chandor.

Its new release date of December 13th will cause it to clash with the animated film The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim from Warner Bros. and New Line, which will be released on the same day.
