Lacey Chabert returns to Rai 2, this time the protagonist of a new romantic comedy with a mystery aftertaste entitled Detective in the dance step. This is yet another production of Hallmark Channelthe American channel that over the years has established a strong partnership with Lacey Chabert so much so that she was involved in numerous romantic films. Detective at the dance step will flesh out the television romance proposal on Rai 2, expected this evening – Wednesday 26 June 2024 – on first TV starting at 9.20pm.

In Dancing Detective Lacey Chabert plays Constance Baileya young detective grappling with a mysterious murder case. To solve it, she will need additional support and Constance is not exactly a fan of collaboration precisely because she follows the rules so strictly. But who was murdered? The victim is the CEO of a prestigious dance company, murdered a few days before a particularly anticipated annual company event: on this occasion all the employees are called to wear ball gowns and take to the dance floor for a competition. To solve this case, Constance will in turn be forced to throw herself onto the dance floor by participating in the event undercover. However, this will not be the only difficulty on her path. In addition to having to pretend to be a new hire, she will also have to let it be known that she is an expert dancer and at her side to reinforce the idea there will be Sebastian, an ambitious former actor who will pretend to be her husband and dance instructor. Investigating is her priority, but she must not let herself be fooled by Sebastian.
Titled in the original language The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango, the mystery-tinged film is directed by Stefan Scaini. While Lacey Chabert plays the meticulous detective, Will Kemp will interpret Sebastian Moore. The cast also includes Bettina Paris, Natasa Babic And Peter Galea.
