After years of engagement and various postponements caused by the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the couple has finally set the wedding date: on July 6, 2024. The ceremony will take place at Grand Hotel in Rimini, a location that has a special meaning for the couple. This iconic place, dear to Federico Fellini and made famous by the film Amarcord, was not chosen by chance. In fact, Simona and Giovanni organize a literary review entitled “The Terrace of the Dolce Vita” right at this hotel. The choice of the Grand Hotel in Rimini as the location of their wedding not only celebrates their love, mand also their common passion for culture and art.
Before the wedding, however, there will be a big party in Milan on June 26th, where around a thousand guests will be present. The organization of this event was entrusted to the famous wedding planner Enzo Miccio, known for his skills in creating memorable parties. Despite the big Milanese party, the wedding ceremony will be a more intimate event, reserved for family and close friends. Simona expressed the desire to meet her audience in Piazza Fellini, another personal touch which reflects his bond with fans.
Paola Perego may not attend
Among the guests at the ceremony there will also be Paola Perego, Simona’s close friend and colleague in the program Rai Due intercom. However, Perego’s presence is uncertain due to a recent accident involving her husband, Lucio Presta.
