During the tests she discovered that she had breast cancer, and from that moment her ordeal began, which she has happily overcome today. The former gieffina has spoken about herself several times on social media, and she has given several interviews to share her experience and be closer to those who are still suffering today.
The preventive visit saved her life, the tumor was small but very aggressive: “I was a miracle worker, because I remember that that day I had to have some belly shots to freeze some eggs. If I had gone home that evening… thank goodness, I was miraculous. I wouldn’t have had a chance from there if I had done this thing in three months…” Today Carolina is better, she is undergoing preventive checks and has taken control of her life, but she has not forgotten those who suffer.

Together with his partner Alessandro, who supports his every initiative, Carolina organized a wonderful surprise for the children hospitalized at the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. The showgirl, her boyfriend and some of her friends dressed up as super heroes and entertained the “little warriors”. An afternoon that was good for the sick children, but also for the hospital staff:
“A moment of carefreeness as if we were in a portable playground and I must say that these things were good not only for the little ones but for everyone… adults, doctors, nurses who for a moment felt the lightness they deserve…” He then revealed that joy taken to the pediatric ward it also filled his heart:
“Yesterday my heart was full of love towards these people who, despite everything, smile and don’t lose heart, children attached to IV drips with these scared little eyes and their parents to whom it goes a special applause that I am always there with them day and night because love for a child goes beyond anything else.”
