Descriptive text here

Ari Boulogne has died at the age of 60 in his home, under mysterious circumstances still to be clarified. He has forever extinguished the gaze of the photographer son of the singer Nico, but leapt to the headlines above all for his relationship with one of the biggest stars of French cinema: Boulogne has always claimed to be the son of actor Alain Delon which, for its part, never wanted to acknowledge it.

Ari Boulogne, it’s a mystery about the photographer’s death

Established photographer and artist born in 1962 to the Velvet Underground’s iconic muse, Nico, and (allegedly) actor Alain Delon, an icon of French cinema and one of the most handsome men ever. Ari Boulogne (born Christian Aaron Päffgen, later Boulogne) he passed away at the age of 60 at his home in Rue de Cambronne in Paris on the night between Friday and Saturday but, as reported by the newspaper Le Parisienthere is something not right about this death.

It almost seems like a paradox. The disappearance of a man who has always sought the truth, struggling to gain recognition from a father who never wanted to know about him, remains shrouded in many questions. As we read in the French newspaper, in fact, the lifeless body of the photographer apparently was found by a 58-year-old woman “in an advanced state of decomposition”.

But there is more because, despite the woman – presumably his partner of Boulogne – explained to the authorities that she had found herself returning from a trip, accompanied by her 21-year-old son, the Paris prosecutor’s office decided to arrest her for “failure to assist anyone in danger”, a measure aimed at “clarify the circumstances in which the death of the victim, who was hemiplegic, may have occurred [uno dei due lati del corpo è paralizzato, ndr] “.

Ari Boulogne was therefore suffering from health problems, which is why he had already been rushed to the Pompidou hospital just recently. L’autopsy in a case like this it’s inevitable and now he expects to know new implications of a sad story like this.

Alain Delon and his son never recognized

They called him “the most beautiful man in the world”, but for Ari Boulogne he was just a father who never wanted to recognize that role in his life. Alain Delon has never been extraneous to paternity: he had three children born to two women – Anthony, Anouchka and Alain Fabian – but he always rejected the self-styled firstbornborn from the youthful relationship with the singer and muse of the Velvet Underground, Nico, who died in 1988.

Or rather, from what the actor himself called a casual relationship. “You are my friend, you are my friend. But I’ll tell you what, you don’t have my eyes, you don’t have my hair. You are not my son, you will never be my son. I only slept with your mother once,” she told him in the eighties.

Yet the doubt remains, especially because of the woman who adopted Ari when he was just a baby. She was the mother of Alain Delon, Edith Boulogne (hence the surname), to raise Ari as if he were his own son. It is even said that it was Nico herself, unable to take care of it, who entrusted it to her “mother-in-law” so that it would not be overwhelmed by her wild life as an artist. Which, in fact, happened: Ari attended her mother and shared the tunnel of alcohol and addictions with her.
