They continue unabated NBA playoffs 2024, with four matches taking place between the Italian evening of yesterday 27 April and the early hours of today 28 April. So let’s take a quick look recap of what happened overseas.

In the Eastern Conference The Orlando Magic they win game 4 against the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-89 ed they impact the series at 2-2. Guests ahead at the first buzzer (22-23), with the Cavaliers reaching a double-digit lead at halftime (51-60). In the second half the Magic go wild and thanks to a 37-10 run they turn the game around, reaching +16 after 36′ of play (86-70). In the final half the Cavaliers were unable to come back, with Orlando managing the enormous advantage and celebrating in front of the home crowd 121-89. Double double by Franz Wagner with 34 points and 13 rebounds for the Magicwith 21 points from Jarrett Allen for Cleveland.

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the resistance of the Denver Nuggets 119-108 in Game 4 to try to reopen the series now 3-1 in favor of the defending champions. The Californians try to impose their own pace right from the start (28-23), even managing to break through to a double-digit lead at the second buzzer (61-48). Denver seems to be less effective on both sides of the pitch, with the yellow-purple remaining at +11 at the last short break of the match (91-80). In the final quarter the Nuggets attempted a desperate comeback, even reaching -7 (113-106), but the Lakers kept their nerve by fending off their opponents’ attacks: it ended 119-108, with 30 points from LeBron James and 25 points and 23 rebounds from a wild Anthony Davis – 21 points equally divided between Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell, with Nikola Jokic that places one triple double (33 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists) but it’s not enough to avoid the knockout.
