During the printing activity of The Fall Guy, Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) gave an interview to CB, where she recounted an accident that happened to her while she was on stage at the theater. Here are his words:
At the theater I caught fire by mistake. In the Wizard of Oz, I was on my broom hanging by a thread, as the Wicked Witch of the West, as usual. I had a feather costume and I had braces pto set fire with your fingers (flash fingers) to the Scarecrow, as usual, but he started late, swerved, and set fire to my feathers.
The Fall Guy: the plot
Colt Seavers (Gosling) is a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the craft a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is called back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio film — directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played by Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt — disappears. As the film’s ruthless producer (Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham) maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Golden Globe winner Aaron Taylor-Johnson) a secret from both the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most spectacular stunts while trying (with limited success) to get back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself trapped in a sinister criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.
