This is the meaning of the training day organized by Prof Teresa Maria Romano in collaboration with Prof Maria Coreateacher of Pythagoras, and held at the lead school, the “Bernardino Telesio” Classical High School in Cosenza.

The common denominator of the network among its member schools is the activation of Esabac courses in their educational offer, which guarantee students in the last three years of secondary school an integrated education based on the in-depth study of the language and culture of the partner country, in this case precisely France, with specific attention to the development of historical-literary and intercultural skills, acquired from a European and international perspective.

At the end of the course, students reach a level of linguistic competence equal to B2 and obtain a double diploma that can be spent in the twinned countries.

They know well what an extraordinary opportunity this constitutes for the former students of the Liceo Telesio who graduated in the European direction and in the context of educational cooperation between the two countries, has always favored exchanges and twinnings with France which have involved students and teachers.

The collective reflection on the state of the art and the prospects of Esabac in Calabria also involved the ATP Cosenza Manager Loredana Giannicola which highlighted how through Esabac young people are encouraged to have a new look towards change, exercising geographical and linguistic mobility without borders, towards new styles of thought and behaviour.

The importance of a network that systematically monitors joint work has emerged, so that no one is left behind and everyone pursues high quality training to offer students certain professional and work opportunities.
