A unique show of its kind dedicated to all families, with the music that accompanied the childhood of entire generations of girls and boys, grandparents and parents, making even the new ones dance and sing.

The Zecchino d’Oro with the Piccolo Coro dell’Antoniano, directed by Sabrina Simoni, stages it for the first time Zecchino d’Oro Show, one-of-a-kind theatrical show dedicated to all families, with the music that accompanied the childhood of entire generations of girls and boys, grandparents and parents, making even the new ones dance and sing.

“Zecchino d’Oro Show is a special event that tells, sings and animates the whole colorful world of the Zecchino d’Oro – explains the choir’s director Sabrina Simoni – An immersive experience for the first time in theatres. An event that is even more special to experience together because it will be staged in the year that celebrates 60 years of the Piccolo Coro dell’Antoniano. We will sing together, sharing music, stories, energy, passion and enthusiasm. The one who accompanies the choir every day.”

A story suspended between dream and reality with the Piccolo Coro dell’Antoniano, in the 60 years since its birth, in a totally new version. There will be, in addition to the Little Choir made up of 65 boys and girls between 4 and 12 years old, the Buffycats band, the two little actors brother and sister Gregorio and Sabina and an exceptional mascot: the little anis Nunù. The musical repertoire is that of Antoniano.

The unforgettable refrains, the most loved characters, from the 44 cats to the Katalicammello and the Panda with Wings, come to life in a show in which the audience is as much the protagonist as the cast on stage: a completely Zecchino full immersion for today’s children and for who has never lost sight of the child within himself. The interactive show will take the audience on an adventurous treasure hunt to find the gold coins that the Cat and the Fox stole from Pinocchio. The special mission is to recover them all to find ourselves projected, among sound suggestions, plays of light and special effects, into that world of music and songs rooted in the imagination of our country. The real protagonists will be the desire to have fun and experience a carefree moment shared with the family.

The Piccolo Coro has always represented Antoniano’s values such as hospitality, solidarity, equality, care for humanity and attention to the most fragile. Music, singing, art and culture are the universal tool and language through which to spread them.

«In Antoniano music and solidarity have always been united – states Frate Giampaolo Cavalli, director of L’Antoniano – The singing of the boys and girls of the Piccolo Coro is the distinctive feature of this bond, the universal language that holds apparently so distant worlds together . There are those who need bread, a plate of pasta, a blanket and those who, like the little ones who attend our therapeutic centre, thanks to music are able to find new ways to express their potential and precious moments of serenity and beauty. This is how the Zecchino d’Oro entered homes, making entire families sing, giving joy. Almost seventy years after Antoniano’s birth, the show wants to renew this long history of care and magic. Because this land never stops needing it.”
