The new project was born from Peter White’s need to delve deeper into retro sounds, revisiting and re-proposing them in his own personal contemporary key. The singer-songwriter lets himself be completely carried away by music and experimentation, drawing on what he has always loved: Italian songwriting.

This song is a further step in the artist’s independent journey which focuses on the importance of free music for artists and users.

“My passion for Italian songwriting began when I was about ten years old, thanks to a collection by Ernesto Assante and Gino Castaldo. My parents had all the records and would put them in the car on trips. While my sister found the songs too sad and she always asked for a change, I knew every lyric by heart and sang them while watching the scenery whiz by from the window. I realized that, after three official albums, a part of my heart is still there: in the first and sweet discovery of Italian songwriting. With this song we decided to follow this path: the use of contemporary sounds and an aesthetic that looks back to the golden years of Italian music.”

With this new single, he proves to be a tireless artist and constantly seeking stylistic and musical evolution, while remaining true to himself and consistent with all his previous works, with which he has been consecrated as one of the most interesting and talented young singer-songwriters of the new generation.

Born in Rome in February 1996, born Pietro Bianchi, he has always loved writing and has always had a great passion for songwriting.

Among the most appreciated singles stands out “Hookah”released as a single in 2018, which to date has approximately 29 million streams on Spotify and has obtained the Gold Record certification.

In April 2019 he debuted the album “First date”produced by the faithful producers Niagara and Polare, which has still totaled around 38 million plays on Spotify, and in the summer of the same year he embarked on a tour throughout Italy.

In 2020 he returned to the scene with several singles released by Sony Music, with whom he also released his second album in 2022 “Millesecond”enriched by featurings with Gemello, Clied and Zero Assoluto and a sold out tour in the Monk and Tunnel clubs, in Rome and Milan respectively.

Back independent again Peter White releases several singles that anticipate the release of the third official album “Water and Sugar”featuring collaborations with Galeffi, chiamamifaro and Gemello. The album to date has more than 12 million streams on Spotify, followed by a 5-date tour throughout Italy and two special concerts at the Auditorium Sala Sinopoli in Rome and at the Santeria Toscana 31 in Milan.
