With “Il buono del bianco”, the innovative project to enhance the Italian dairy supply chain, Sabelli Group wins the Smau Marche 2024 Innovation Award, a recognition given to companies that have made a concrete innovative contribution to their reality, contributing to the growth of the country system.
Sabelli was selected among numerous regional success stories that participated in the fourth edition of Smau Marche, the event organized by the Roadshow Smau, the reference circuit of the national and international innovation ecosystem, in collaboration with the Marche Region and other important institutional bodies, including the Chamber of Commerce.
With “The good of white”, Sabelli introduced a producer remuneration system based on the level of implementation of the requirements established by a Sabelli supply chain technical specification. An approach that rewards the quality linked to the organoleptic and food safety characteristics of the milk, certified by third-party controls to which is added an economic recognition linked to the efforts made by the farmers. Parameters referring to some more innovative aspects such as the enhancement of animal welfare, the commitment to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency, the traceability of milk and the incentive for generational turnover among farmers.
