“Living together, which is built day by day, between the discovery and beauty of the Caravan, but also and above all in the relationship with others”. This was underlined in a note by Juppiter, who is promoting the “North Cape Destination” caravan, made up of disabled children, educators and young talents. The Caravan left Rome on June 19th and is touching, in various stages, various cities in Europe.
In Puttgarden, shortly before boarding the ferry to Denmark, “the pioneers of Destinazione Cape Nord couldn’t resist and, having taken the ball out of a backpack, they started playing an improvised game on the beach, which became our championship European: young people, educators and ANAI drivers, together. A simple way that describes the spirit of Destinazione Capo Nord better than many words: sharing the road with those who are like us, but above all with those who are different from us”. And this is what happened in each of the stages of the journey of the children of the Juppiter Association, together with the ANAI drivers and the State Police agents.

“The Caravan opens its eyes and hands to touch the Baltic Sea, starting the climb towards the North Cape, the northernmost point of Europe. Having left Magdeburg after reflecting on the meaning of rebirth, as evidenced by the Greune Zitadelle, the pioneers found on the beaches overlooking the Baltic Sea a space to open their horizons and give strength to the desire to reach the goal”, continues the note.
It may have been thanks to the ball match, it may have been the days spent together, but yesterday “was perfect for celebrating the international hug, dedicating it to the spirit that animates the whole caravan, the search for peace and beauty in fragility ”.
After just under an hour of navigation, the young protagonists of the adventure discovered the port of Copenhagen. One of the most anticipated moments was the meeting with the statue of the Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen: an opportunity to talk about dreams and change, central themes in the education of young people. Today the journey will continue towards Norrkoping, Sweden.
