Motorcycle accident, today the funeral of the restaurateur Giorgio Ardizzoni

Giorgio Ardizzoni, the 52-year-old owner of the 365 restaurant in Borgomarina, Cervia, has tragically passed away. Disbelief is still strong among friends and acquaintances of the place known for the tragedy. Originally from Ferrara, Ardizzoni had lived for some time in Cervia, a city in which he leaves his wife and two children. The head-on crash with a car occurred on Monday afternoon in the Saline di Cervia while he was riding his motorbike. The accident occurred at 3.30 pm, in the Saline stretch near the junction that leads to Villa Inferno. Rescued by 118, the 52-year-old was urgently transported to Bufalini in Cesena, where he was hospitalized with a reserved prognosis; the death occurred the other night. The police will have to clarify the dynamics between the car and motorbike, which, as mentioned, collided head-on. The car was driven by a 37-year-old from the province of Mantua. “Giorgio Ardizzoni I will never stop thanking you for what you taught me, you have always been a good person, you didn’t deserve what happened to you. Condolences to the family, we will miss you” one of the many comments posted on social media. And then “there are no words. Condolences to the family” and “great restaurateur and friend”. There are also those who, among Cento’s friends, remember his commitment to the local Pro Loco. Ardizzoni had worked, among others, at the Milano Marittima rotunda café. The funeral will take place this morning at 11am at the church in Castiglione di Cervia. After the rite we will proceed to say our last goodbyes to the cemetery of Castiglione di Cervia.
