A weekend dedicated to physical activity, healthy lifestyles and fun for families. In short, this was it “A tutto sport!”, the event organized by Endas Siciliawhich took place on Saturday and Sunday, in the external square of the Conca d’Oro shopping centre, in Palermo. A sports village has been set up in the outdoor space, with activities promoted by Endas Sicilia and coordinated by Oxygen Group. Many sports disciplines: from martial arts to rhythmic gymnastics, from basketball to skateboarding, from fencing to bowls, from table football to arm wrestling, up to the small racetrack and athletics. Several families were present with children who were able to enjoy a free ride on a hot air balloon.
Sport accessible to all
“The event represented a significant moment in our ongoing commitment to promote social development and inclusion through sport – says Dario Galioto, provincial president of Endas Palermo – An objective achieved after seeing so many athletes involved. Our project is not limited to bringing sport to conventional places, but aims to integrate these activities into the daily life of our community, making sport accessible to all”. “With +16.6% of visitors to Conca d’Oro in the two days dedicated to sport – declares Devis Di Cioccio, director of the shopping center – we are very happy to have been a showcase for Palermo’s sports bodies and associations”.
