“As can be seen from the minutes of the meetings of the organs associative, the president of AdP, in all the meetings of the Board of Directors in which he has participated in the last three years, has never questioned the choices, orientations and initiatives of the Association. In the 2023 Assembly he proposed a statutory change, which was unanimously accepted by the members. In the recent 2024 Assembly, Aeroporti di Puglia also voted in favor of the reconfirmation of the President of Assaeroporti, approved the programmatic report, abstaining instead on the appointment of the vice presidents, as it was evidently interested in that position for its president” , the note continues.
“Assaeroporti remains an association that favors interests overall of the members and the policies for strengthening and qualifying the Italian airport system which cannot be “exchanged” or scaled down to meet personal ambitions”, the Association underlined.
“Finally, precisely due to the evidence of the real reasons that determined the choice of Aeroporti di Puglia, the enthusiasm shown by Airports 2030 which Aeroporti di Puglia has decided to join. The full cohesion of the entire category should be a common objective: unfortunately, the tendency to favor associative ties based on personal motivations is confirmed instead”, concluded the note.
