TERAMO. The first steps were taken yesterday for the establishment of the institutional committee which – as anticipated by Center days ago – will be responsible for organizing the Interamnia handball Cup starting from the upcoming edition of this year, the 51st, scheduled from 8 to 14 July.
Yesterday the promoters of the committee – namely the municipal administration and some people historically very close to the Cup – held an initial meeting to divide up the work areas, while the Municipality sent e-mails to all the bodies and associations that could join the new entity. Regardless of the number of members, the resolution establishing it will be brought to the council in a few days. It seems certain that the committee will be chaired by the municipal sports councilor Alessandra Ferri. The former councilor and city councilor will certainly have a decisive role – or rather, is already having it Guido Campana, who has the delicate task of convincing the Cup’s suppliers to lend their services even though they were not paid for the services provided last year.
