Reggio Emilia, 18 June 2024 – Piazzale Europa And Zucchi barracks enter into the focus on safety wanted yesterday by Prefecturewho at the request of the unions met with the latter, the Municipality, the Mobility Agency and the Seta company.

On the Seta company side, we still perceive that we are on two different wavelengths: starting from the fact that in September 2023 we asked them for a meeting without receiving a response. Of course, it is not up to Seta to guarantee public order, but the safety of its employees is.”
“These problems tend to be addressed only in emergencies, when the spotlight is on us – adds the Uil transport regional secretary, Gianluca Neri –. Having a permanent table, as already happens for example at Ferrara oh Bologna, it is instead essential to monitor the lines most at risk and therefore prevent certain episodes. Until we arrive at considering public transport as an integral part of the territory to be covered, also from a political point of view, we are not starting off on the right foot. I will be able to feel confident about the discussion we had in the Prefecture when what was said becomes concrete.”
