Car fire alarm in Ispica?
The councilor of the Democratic Party of Ispica, Gianni Stornello, who intervenes next, thinks so the ascertainment of the malicious nature of the fire that destroyed the car of the architect Stefano Marina and professor Anna Alì.
Stornello expresses the utmost solidarity with the victims and asks for clarity on what happened as soon as possible.
“It cannot escape us – declares councilor Stornello – that Stefano Marina and Anna Alì are both activists of the Circolo Sikelion of Legambiente of Ispica of which Anna Alì is even president. Having ascertained the malicious nature of the fire, we must know as soon as possible whether the arson act was the work of thugs or whether it was a real intimidation attributable to the commitment and battles to protect the environment and legality that Marina and Ali leads. With this gesture – states Stornello – we exceeded the guard limit, after the arson attacks against the car of the then councilor Denaro and the vans of the Lucenti funeral home. Ispica – underlines the PD exponent – cannot resign itself to being the city of arson attacks and suicides: there is something wrong and that we all have the duty to identify and resolve. It goes to Stefano Marina and Anna Alì my personal solidarity and that of the entire Democratic Party. We trust in the commitment of the investigators to clarify the contours of this disturbing fact which calls us all to be vigilant and animated by great civic sense and moral tension”.
