On the quiet night just gone by, a dramatic event shocked the municipality of Gesualdo, involving four cars parked near a local body shop. At 04:10, the Fire Brigade team from the Grottaminarda detachment was called into action, promptly responding to the report of a fire in via Fontana Del Lupo, at the intersection with the SS 403. The operations room of the Command, located in via Zingarelli, coordinated the interventions and sent an additional tanker from the Avellino headquarters to support field operations. The flames, which quickly engulfed the cars, were put out by skilled firefighters, who worked with determination to make the area affected by the fire safe. Fortunately, no further damage was recorded beyond the four cars involved, thanks to the rapid response from the competent authorities.
