The adventure officially ends Giacomo Bonaventura with the Fiorentina. June 30th marks the last day of the contract of many footballers with their teams, now free to settle down zero parameter. The Viola club therefore wanted to thank the midfielder born in 1989, who arrived in 2020 after the end of his adventure at Milan. The new branded project Raffaele Palladino he decided to start again without him, despite the last good season in which he even managed to find the national team jersey again.

The Viola club made the farewell official through a post on their social media, thanking the midfielder for what he did in his four seasons in Florence: “Thank you Jack! You will forever be part of purple history! Good luck on your next adventure.” Words that moved the fans in the comments, with many messages of affection towards Bonaventure.

Bonaventure closes his adventure in Florence with 22 goals and 22 assists in 162 games played with the jersey of Fiorentina between the championship, the Italian Cup and the Conference League. The midfielder arrived in 2024 at zero parameter from Milan and now he will be free once again to choose his next adventure. We will see if any team A league will come forward.
