After a year of work, the Dinan-Lamballe link is once again accessible from next July 6tha date that coincides with the crazy Saturdays of the TER BreizhGo pass. As a reminder, every first Saturday of the month, travelers benefit from the TER for 5 euros.
More trains for the Brest Maritime Festival
With the return of the Brest Maritime Festival, the SNCF is deploying a special BreizhGo service with 20 additional trains to enjoy all the entertainment of the event which has been absent for eight years.
The Corkscrew still present on the Auray-Quiberon line
Finally, for the 39th year, the “Tire-Bouchon” train is back in service on the Auray-Quiberon line.
This year, the schedules have been revised to facilitate the return from the beach or even access to the peninsula for seasonal workers. It circulates 10 round trips per day from July 1 to September 2 and the weekends of September 7 and 8.
Mastering high temperatures
Due to the heat waves of the past years, operations of maintenance were made in order to verify the air conditioning systems.
As every year, the “Heatwave Plan” is being put back in place with access to bottled water for travelers. Some cities like Rennes, Vannes, Brest and Saint-Brieuc have installed water fountains in their stations.
